National Security Alliance

The National Security Alliance was founded in 2008 by 6 like-minded regional contract security companies, strategically located throughout the continental United States.

Since its inception, the NSA has grown to 13 Companies and expanded its membership base to Hawaii and Canada, making it a truly North American alliance. Each member company is a LOCALLY owned and operated entity, many with several branch offices in their particular geographical area. Each member company operates in a designated territory.

Unlike the world's largest companies where the service level heavily depends on the skill level and commitment of the local branch manager, NSA companies are driven and overseen by the owners.

Destructive Tornado Ripped through Goderich, Ontario

ASAP Secured, Inc.

The morning of August 21, 2011 started out as another beautiful and warm day in Goderich, Ontario (140 miles northeast of Detroit) when ASAP Security Officer Steve Whitehead started his first patrol at 8.05 am. By Sunday afternoon there was nothing normal about the rest of the day. A destructive tornado with winds over 200 miles per hour had ripped through Canada's prettiest town leaving one dead and several injured. ASAP operations received a call from the site supervisor that he could not contact Steve Whitehead at the Sifto Salt Mine and he was heading towards the mine. Reports started coming in that there was major damage to the Sifto mine and entire town of Goderich.

It was determined that Steve Whitehead had been injured and transported to Goderich hospital and then airlifted to London, Ontario Victoria hospital due to the seriousness of his injuries. Efforts were made to ensure that Steve's family were aware of what had happened to him. Steve recalls having gone back to the ASAP Mobile Command Centre to close the windows as the rain and hail started to come down. His next memory was waking up on the ground and then being taken to the hospital.

Police services throughout the region responded to Goderich's call for help in order to maintain civil order, ensuring that all access roads leading into Goderich were manned by police services. By morning the real devastation of Goderich was apparent, as ASAP Secured continued to deploy more guards to facilitate access control of the mine site. ASAP is presently providing over 1,600 hours per week of security coverage for the mine and packaging plant.

Steve is at home recovering from his injuries and we are looking forward to having him back to work in the near future. The town of Goderich is recovering slowly but surely.

Massachusetts Passes Gambling Bill Which Allows for Legalized Gaming Throughout the State.

RSIG Security

Massachusetts has passed the gambling bill which allows for legalized gaming throughout the state. RSIG security is currently in talks with various entities to provide security for the construction phase of the casinos and slot parlor. Casino bidders must pay an $85 million fee and pledge to invest at least $500 million in each facility. The slot parlor requires a $25 million licensing fee and a $125 million investment. The state will tax each of the three casinos at 25 percent of their gambling revenue, and the slot parlor at 49 percent. Beneficiaries include transportation infrastructure, local aid, anti-addiction services, the arts, race horse development, health care reform efforts and public safety. RSIG Security was awarded the security contract for Plainridge Raceway last time the bill was debated as they were preparing to build out their facility to accommodate the one slot parlor that the state is to award.

Merrimack College has recently contracted with RSIG Security to provide security at all NCAA Hockey Games at Lawler Arena in Andover MA. The Warriors Men's Hockey Team was ranked #1 in the Country two months ago is now ranked #7, and continues to draw large crowds to their games. RSIG Security assists in maintaining crowd control services along with alcohol enforcement, and security supervision throughout the arena. RSIG Security currently provides security services for several colleges and universities in the New England market.

Anderson Security Agency Named Security Provider for Solana Generating Station

Anderson Security

In 2008, the Solana Generating Station was unveiled by Arizona Public Service in Gila Bend. In 2011, Anderson Security Agency, Ltd. was named the security provider of choice during construction by Abener Teyma. Anderson currently provides almost 3000 monthly man hours.

This has not been just a cookie cutter security job. Anderson also provides proxy cards, automated arms, a metal container that houses a security office along with biometric readers and turnstiles. We also have a guardhouse on-site, a number of hand-held proximity readers, mobile surveillance units with live video links and a progression camera.

The Solana Generation Station is a 280-megawatt concentrating solar power plant that will be completed in 2013. Once completed it will be one of the largest solar plants in the world. At full capacity the plant will serve nearly 70,000 Arizona homes.

We are excited to be a part of this project and just recently landed another solar plant, the Juwi Solar plant in Queen Creek, Arizona.

King Security on the Front Lines Against Occupy San Francisco Rioters

King Security

King Security executive management received a call from a worried client security director last week.  In two days time, Occupy San Francisco publicly stated they would march on this large downtown client and engage in a formal protest.  Police intelligence sources also advised that two different unions had signed on and would provide additional protesters.  The particular location they targeted was a large office and hotel complex with numerous entrances and garages.  Unfortunately, this location in the past suffered similar protests, all ending very badly.

We were asked to provide immediate coverage round the clock until the situation subsided.  King Security deployed roughly 70 officers manning points between San Francisco Riot Police and the structure.  We also activated and sent our Serious Incident Management Response Team.  During the vigil and ensuing police battle, numerous arrests were made.  Though minor damage was sustained to the property, no injuries were reported.

This represents a shining example of our capabilities and that of our fellow NSA contract security providers.  We were called upon to respond immediately in large numbers with trained, licensed and uniformed security officers.  Under the most difficult of situations, our officers held fast in the best traditions of our industry.  Police stated that over 1,000 protesters descended upon our location carrying sticks, bottles and metal rods (which we seized upon occasion).
